In this levis Jeans’ commercial it shows the everyday events in the country how it has the man in the car with protesters yelling anger towards him, the lady in the lady looking down into the city, kids playing while the elderly are having a conversation. It shows some acts of teenagers towards the end showing them jumping over the fence, grouping up next scene is some guy catching his breath then a couple kissing. At the end of the commercial it shows more teenagers running off with a banner that says ‘go forth’. Some of the key features I think are important is the word ‘America’ at the beginning of the commercial, maybe the fireworks because its how we celebrate our country’s independence, the wealthy looking man sitting with the skyscrapers in view behind him, and the American flag.
Starting off with the word “America” clearly engages people, Americans, in this commercial. In this commercial it talks about America being a diverse place with all types of people; males, females, old people, young people, strong, rich all alike, enduring, equal, and capable of doing the same as the rest of the people in the country. It tries to catch the attention of all kinds of audiences by showing religious acts with the man kissing a Virgin Mary figuring, children playing, and teenagers. Then it talks about the country how there is freedom, love, and law making it seem as a utopia to peoples eyes and ears. I also think it tries to show parts of the American dream by showing the man with the buildings behind him making him seem rich and powerful and also shows the culture of America with the diversity of different people. Finally at the end of the commercial it shows its audience to go forth which I think is done to give its audience encouragement.
