Do you want a better butt and legs just by walking? Well in the Easy Tone Reebok commercial is says just that. It has a visual of a woman in black in white lying on her side, butt facing the audience. It shows her lifting her legs up and down in a flirting way. The commercial talks about it gives you more of a work out by 28% and does 11% more for your hamstrings and calves. This says to me even if you go to the gym and work out it’s still not good enough. They want you to buy these shoes they are selling in order to see better results then what the gym can offer. Just by walking they say. I know a lot of people don’t like to work out that much but they are saying it’s ok to be lazy just wear our shoes. The commercial says that 88% of men will be speechless. To me they are saying without these shoes guys won’t notice you. You probably won’t get a date because you’re not looking that good. In 31 seconds it tells you to wear these shoes so you don’t have to work out that hard and that guys will notice you! Also it says 76% of women will be jealous of you for looking so good and that men will be checking you out. I can’t believe there selling this product by a do or don’t theme. The commercial is selling the product but seems to be selling people short of themselves. It probably doesn’t make people feel good about themselves who are a little over weight or who don’t get much attention from guys. People can go to the gym and work out and get results without those shoes. Guys can hit on girls who wear them or not. In life if you want to look good or feel good then you have to work hard for it. Buying a pair of shoes won’t change that. Some girls will just be girls and be jealous either way. In America it seems beauty has always been issue, through models, magazines, and celebrities. People always have people telling them what to wear or how to look. I like the commercial for what the shoe can offer but not that if you don’t wear them you won’t get guys or that you won’t look good. The myth to me is that in order to look good you need these shoes. I’m smart enough to know that if I want to look good by working out I don’t need those shoes and won’t sell myself short! The approach to me is all about beauty! But to have beauty you don’t need these shoes! So when people see this ad think twice about what the product is really selling and not false hopes!
