Hey everyone! My name is Daniel Hindes. I was born in Aurora, Colorado, I lived in Martinez, California (which is in the Bay Area) pretty much my whole life, since I was 4, until recently, where I moved up here to Washington. I now live in Ferndale with my family. We all moved up here during the middle of June this year. I was given the choice to move or to stay in California. I decided it was time to move, I wanted the new experience, and of course a fresh start. So far I love it up here, except for the fact that I miss all my friends. Its hard to make new friends at my age, therefore I have a few new friends, but I am constantly making new friends. Within two weeks of moving to Ferndale, Washington, I went to Oregon to stay with my grandparents for six weeks. As soon as I got back home, school started in a week at WCC. I am in my first year of college. I wanted to become an Architect, I recently changed my mind. I am now going to school to transfer in two years to go to a four year and become a Civil Engineer. I love math, well... sometimes =P. I enjoy snowboarding, and yes there is snow in California, the mountain range is called the Sierra Nevada's.
I love movies, I go to the movie theater's a lot! I watch movies at home also. There is just something about the environment of being at a movie theater that I love. My favorite movies are horror/gore/thriller....I know, kind of terrible, but I love the anticipation of not knowing what is going to happen next! Okay, I don't really want to get off track, which, i probably have been for a while now =). Meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do.
Part Two..
Writing is something that I am not very strong at. Although I like to write papers that are all about my thoughts or opinions. Sometimes I like to write persuasive essays, depends on the topic. When I'm not writing for a class, I usually am writing emails to family members, or I'm on Facebook. The next closest thing to writing is when I'm drawing. Not really pictures or images, but I sometimes just see a word and I write it down on a piece of paper, where I will transform the word. When I say transform, I mean an artistic or a creative way of rewriting the word. For instance, when I was reading through the other blogs, there was one word that caught my eye, it was "become". I took that word and "transformed" it on a piece of paper that was near my computer at the time. I suppose that is all I have to say for now.
