Sven Birkerts asserts there is no wisdom without resonance. Resonance is the shadow of import alongside the body of fact. Understanding resonance is difficult without also understanding the correlation of time wisdom, and resonance.
Imagining time with a measurable start and end gives a straight, flat line. Wisdom is the ability to use the knowledge gained through living, while having the judgment and principles, along with discernment to effectively apply the ability. Resonance is the balanced vibration with intensity and depth of understanding on the time line giving body and support to wisdom.
Resonance is having the qualities of wisdom, the depth of experience, and the balance to be attuned to the wisdom. Resonance is also significance. Knowing wisdom comes, not from understanding, but understanding why, resonance is the why, giving significance to wisdom.
