Part 1. Hello my name is Jordan Simpson. I currently live in Bellingham. I am eighteen years old and I this quarter at Whatcom is my second so far. My goal in school is to get into the Rn program at WCC and hopefully get a job doing that full time somewhere around this area. I have a lot of passions in my life and one of them would have to be just helping people in any way I can. Another one is music, music can just be so inspiring and such a good pick me up and I love it for that reason. Sports is one of the bigger ones, I have played basically all of them and my favorite would have to be baseball. All in all I just like to enjoy life and everything it throws at me.

Part 2. The ways I write most often are: Texting, Short handed notes, Email and Facebook

The one I find myself doing the most is texting. The nice thing about texting is I can do it just about anywhere and the fact that it is so quick is also an upside. It is also a really nice way to just see how your friend is doing or how someone in your family is doing by just sending that quick little text saying Hey how are you and what have you been up to? When I look at it and think what would my life be without this, I think I would more often then not be slightly bored and feel unconnected with friends and family. The things that I look out the most for when I am texting would have to probably be things like texting ttyl or abbreviations like that. If I was to get in the habit of that I would be afraid of it popping up in a college paper and having it make me seem uneducated or something of the sort.
