Part 1:
Hello, my name is Kyle Zeilstra. I am 18 years old. This year is my first year of college, second quarter at WCC. I really like it a lot so far. I am trying to complete graphic and inter-media designing program here at WCC to become a graphic designer. I enjoy reading biographies and others that interests me. Reading boring plain stories is no fun! I like hanging out with my friends in my spare time. Sometimes I play video games when I have absolutely nothing to do. On weekends, I like to go out with my buddies and have some fun; hanging out at the Cobra Lounge, check out some local bands, or go bowling. I always try to keep myself stress-free, relax, and have fun. Listening to reggae music is one of my favorite things to do. Music keeps me in a positive mood, making me feel a better person. Graphic designing interests me very much; I love creating art with my own creative skills. I also love doing photography. Someday, I want to write a book about my life surrounded by people, things, and others; base on my views of life.
Part 2:
I rarely write, although; I write to people through email, internet, and cell phone daily. When I want to write, it’s usually free-writing. I like to write random topics or ideas coming out of my mind. It’s the easiest way to write. When I write, I always have music playing because music relaxes me, helps me to free my mind and think. Free-writing helps me to warm up and be ready to engage. I have my own space and peace here at home which it helps a lot. I can get distracted by things easily like my loud parents... Other than free-writing and internet writing, most of my writings were for class assignments/essays. I always have trouble with writing if it’s timed or a topic the teacher selected. I’m better off with picking a topic of my own and use time wisely. Writing helps me in my life so much because I have poor hearing. I don’t know how my life would be without writing... I wouldn’t be this far without it!
