My name is Edelia Weston, but I like to go by Edie. I am 17 years old, and go to Squalicum High School part time, and WCC the other half of the time, with Mary Hammerbeck as my english teacher. Although I am currently going to college (obviously), I don't plan on attending college right after graduation. Instead I will be joining Youth With A Mission (YWAM), where I will be helping people in foreign countries depending on where I choose to go. I love hanging out and relaxing with my friends who are amazing, reading, watching movies. I will try anything once, and I'm excited for the upcoming year and all of the adventures it holds.
For the most part I really don't enjoy writing, the only exceptions are facebook, texting, and sometimes emailing. I generally use texting the most, but facebook is what I like to use more. I find it a great way to keep in contact with the people you generally don't see, or even those who you would just like to keep in contact with more. As a person with an aversion to talking on the phone, it allows me to say anything that I would need to say over the phone- except without all the awkward pauses, and the unwanted period of time where someone tries to hang up and the other won't allow. I'm on facebook quite a bit, which is not necessarily a good thing, because it leads to added distractions, and a use of informal writing styles.
