My name is Ryan Hayes. Im 18 and this is my first quarter at WCC. I live here in Bellingham with 4 of my friends from high school. I am enrolled in English 100 with Hammerbeck and plan on attaining an AAS transfer degree but have not decided where exactly i want to go from here. My hobbies include playing guitar, sports, video games, the usual stuff. Im pretty excited to start this quarter and look forward to learning new things and meeting new people.
Recently my most common style of writing has been songwriting. I just started making my own songs on guitar and writing lyrics for them. This form of writing helps me express my feelings or thoughts to others in a hopefully entertaining way. It is useful because its fun for me and although it may not say everything im thinking, it causes others to think about your words and can inspire them. I text alot too but im sure everybody knows about why, when, where and how we text.
