My name is Courtney. I'm 19 and this is my second year at Whatcom. I decided to put off my English classes till the last minute, which I regret now. I have enjoyed my time at Whatcom, but after one more year I plan to transfer to a University. I haven't decided where, but I'm stuck on Humboldt, California, so I might continue my studies at HSU.
I'm originally from Southeast Alaska. I was born and raised on a small island of around 1500 people. I really enjoy it in Alaska. I plan on returning once I receive my teaching degree. I go back every summer to work on my dad's fishing boat.
In my spare time I like to do ceramics on the potters wheel. I also like to cook, play cards, listen to music, the usual.
In my spare time I don't do much writing. The writing I do do is on Facebook, texting, homework, or lists of stuff I need to accomplish in my day.
The most writing I do is on Facebook. I do this everyday, usually more than once. I get to catch up with my friends, and stay in touch with all the ones I don't get to see all the time. Being on Facebook so much causes distractions, and me to get lazy on my typing. My mom even decided to get it so that's another way I can keep in touch with her while she is in Alaska. On facebook they even have games you can play making you want to be on facebook all the time. I personally haven't played any, but a lot of my friends do.
