Bumblebee Tuna

Part 1.

Well, my name is Beth Brummel and i'm a new student to Whatcom this quarter. i didn't attend the fall quarter because i had to save up money to pay for my college myself. In a way, i guess i take my classes here at Whatcom more seriously because i had to work so hard to get here. I've lived in Bellingham my entire life and don't plan to leave unless i find a calling somewhere else.

I text anytime that I'm allowed to and my phone rarely leaves the safety of my pocket, unless otherwise occupied by my hands. My family doesn't have a regular house phone so my cell is the only means of access i have for communication to my family, friends, and boyfriend. Most often to check in to see how people are or to find out information as to things needed to be done or places to be. I also text when I need to vent about events or issues. I text because I have my phone on me always and its the most convenient for my needs. Texting, however, can get in the way of my attention span if I'm not careful. If I couldn't text, it wouldn't be as easy for me to keep in touch with everyone I'm in contact with now.
