"Insert witty title here"

Howdy folks, name is Jeff Richmond. This is my second quarter of college and I love it. I'm 28 and have been out of school for 12 years. If you did the math you will notice that I left school right after my freshmen year. I got my G.E.D. at the request of my mother and soon entered the workforce. I have done many things for a living(mostly in kitchens,) but have settled into a job as a blackjack dealer. I love my job the people I work for, work with, the environment and the work is great. The only thing that bothers me about my form of employment is the service I sell (and sell I do,) but that is a story for another time.

Writing.. Most of it has been in the text form, or in a "journal"(not that I wrote in the damn thing much.) To say that I do not enjoy writing is wrong, I just don't feel confidant with my ability to put my thought on paper in a way that others will understand easily. I'm sure that will change as I feel my understanding of the written word increases. I left school and never looked back. The importance of learning was impressed upon me, but the faith in the institution was not. I have spent many years learning what I cared to learn. Now that I have returned to school I have the opportunity to learn some of the things that have labored my confidence unnecessarily. The chance to grow as a writer thrills me, and I hope someday to maybe even write something worth publishing.
